About Us
I started this business after needing pet care for my Akita, Sheila, and two cats, Ching and Scooter, due to an out of town family emergency requiring me to leave town quickly. My pets are part of my family and they usually travel with me. Due to the extreme nature of this situation, I was unable to take them with me. It was the middle of spring break and all the kennels in town were full. Luckily, I found a pet sitter who made special trips to my home on short notice to take care of my babies. From that moment on, I knew this business was for me. Because I love all pets...BIG and small...dogs, cats, reptiles, fish, whatever it may be. Pet Lovers Pet Sitters was created to fill that need for everyone who loves their pets and wants the best care possible for them when their owners are unable to do it themselves.
I am committed to meeting the needs of all my clients whether it be two legged or four legged.

Service Areas:
I specialize in the areas of Pensacola Beach, Gulf Breeze, Tiger Point, Midway, Holley By The Sea and Navarre as well as downtown Pensacola and East Hill areas of Pensacola. Further distances will require additional costs.
Client Consultation:
Please call to make an appointment for initial client consultation. At this meeting, you will meet with me to discuss your pet care needs, the service contract and emergency vet form. Please have emergency contact names and phone numbers available. Please be sure let us know if there are any health concerns for your pets. At this time, I will ask for detailed information about your pets, the feeding route, any medication that need to be administer, their schedules and about your home. I ask that you please have a key available for us at that time to avoid another visit to your home to pick up the key. (Charges apply when an additional visit is necessary to pick up or return a key).
Please be advised that I do not sit for vicious pets. If your pet is vicious upon arrival or becomes vicious during your absence, you will be notified and other arrangements will have to be made.
Rates:
The following is the approximate rate for particular services.
The rate varies between $16 for the first 3 pets (includes a 15 minute leashed walk or run in your neighborhood or playtime in your home or yard, whichever you prefer, plus feeding, watering, litter box scooping and basic home care) to $20 for the first 3 pets (includes a 20 - 25 minute leashed walk or run or playtime in your home or yard, whichever you prefer, plus feeding, watering, litter box scooping, and basic home care) per visit.
$12 per visit for pet turnouts which are available morning, evenings and even during the middle of the day. This is simply letting your pet out to do his or her business and placing them back in your home safe and sound. This service is great for puppies of clients who expect to work long hours.
The rate will be finalized during the initial consultation and will be based on the number of pets you have and the amount of work that will be required, additional charges may be applicable.
On holidays (Easter, Mother's Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas) I will make a.m. and p.m. visits only in order to spend time with my family.
Payment of Services:
Payment in full is expected at the time initial client consultation or booking the reservation. There is a $25 handling charge in addition to any charges presented by the bank for a check returned for any reason.
Reservations:
Reservations are highly encouraged as I book up early, especially during the holidays.
Time:
The time of the visit can not be guaranteed due to possible unavoidable circumstances, such as traffic. Although, I will try to accomodiate you and your pets schedule as much as possible.
Additional Visitors in Your Home:
If someone else will be coming into your home, you will have to relinquish Pet Lovers Pet Sitters from all liability for damage to your home and injury to or neglect of your pet.
Cancellations:
Sometimes, the need arises to cancel your reservation. If you need to cancel, please do so 24 hours prior to our first visit. If we make a visit to your home or if you cancel less that 24 hours prior to our first visit, you will be charged for the full amount of that visit.
Pet Sitting Hours:
5:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. 7 days a week

Just wanted to say how thankful we are to have discovered Petlovers Pet Sitters! Believe it or not, after moving here only 6 months ago, one of my biggest concerns was "who will take care of my dogs when we are out of town?" After using a "pet sitter" in Houston for three years I decided I would never board the dogs again!
Having you and George come out to the house to meet me and my "dog kids", and seeing you take notes about my requests was very reassuring. I know coming four times a day wasn't easy, but I so appreciate your willingness to work with the dogs' schedules! The best part was coming home and seeing Acre and Boca so relaxed and at ease. It makes going out of town much easier when I know they are well taken care of!
